Marc A. Savy, CPP
Certified Payroll Professional
Marc Savy has been in the accounting industry for over eleven years and has specialized in payroll for the past Four years. Marc graduated from Flagler College with a Bachelor of Arts degree, he majored in Accounting and minored in Business Administration. He is a Certified Payroll Professional through the American Payroll Association. He obtained his certification in April of 2012.
In 2004, Marc began working at Ben Savy Accounting, Inc., located in Palm Coast, Florida. He focused on small business tax returns, bookkeeping, and payroll. In 2008, Marc started running all payroll operations for small businesses in various industries for Ben Savy Accounting, Inc.
In 2012, Marc started Payroll Savvy to offer more personal service in the payroll service industry. During his years working with small business owners, he discovered a growing lack of trust and frustration with the large corporate payroll providers. So, he set out to build a payroll service that could supply personal and professional payroll services for small businesses in all industries.
Stormie Acheson, FPC
Stormie is a Jacksonville native and a Jacksonville University graduate. She graduated in April of 2016 with her degree in Finance. Most interested in payroll with aspirations of being a Certified Payroll Professional, she joined Payroll Savvy in September 2015 and brings with her a great work ethic, high energy, strong motivation, and deep commitment.
Loyal, determined, and dependable, she enjoys giving back to the community. Stormie has earned numerous awards for her leadership and service in the community including the American Legion Courage, Honor, and Leadership Award and the Gold Presidential Community Service Award. She also likes surfing, hunting, fishing, and kayaking.

Alicia Knopps is a Jacksonville native with an Associate degree in Accounting Technology. Prior to joining Payroll Savvy, Alicia served as the direct assistant to the CFO of The Bolles School and has experience in payroll and accounts receivables. She has been recognized by her colleagues for consistently going above and beyond in order to execute plans and accomplish goals. She is a dedicated professional who strives to ensure thorough attention to detail is being executed in order to adequately serve the needs of her clients.
Alicia is currently working towards becoming a Certified Payroll Professional through the American Payroll Association. She is devoted to providing a professional and personalized payroll experience to her clients as one of the trusted team members of Payroll Savvy. What she loves most about her job is the ability to alleviate the payroll and time keeping stressors of her clients so that they can focus on their business.
When not in the office, Alicia enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and daughter as well as her many nieces and nephews. Their favorite family vacation destination is Disney! She also enjoys helping her family and friends find ways to get organized and be efficient in their day-to-day lives.
